BIOS A05 ** WARNING ** It is extremely important that customers verify the AuthenTec fingerprint reader driver installed is not version 6.­26.­1.­0.­ To Check the AuthenTec Driver version: Click on Start > Control panel.­ If the Control Panel window in Category view,­ Click on Performance and Maintenance and click on System.­ If the Control Panel window in Classic View double click on System icon.­ On the System Properties,­ click on Hardware tab.­ Click on Device Manager In the Device Manager,­ click + on Universal Serial Bus controller to expand the category.­ Double click on AuthenTec AES2501 On the AuthenTec AES2501 properties,­ click on Driver tab.­ The driver version is the 3rd item from the top.­ Check for driver version 6.­25.­0.­0.­ To Rollback the AuthenTec Driver if you have version 6.­26.­1.­0 After getting to step #7 above do the following In AuthenTec AES2501 properties,­ click on Roll Back Driver A warning window will pop up Are you sure you would like to roll back to the previous driver?­ Click on Yes The driver will roll back to previous version and user can see the change on AuthenTec AES2501 properties.­ The driver version should reflect 6.­25.­0.­0 Close AuthenTec AES2501 properties.­ Driver rolled back and there is no need to restart system.­ Close Device Manager,­ System Properties and Control Panel Window.­ End of roll back.­
